Small living units, Rotterdam

To meet the growing demand for small residential units in the student city of Rotterdam.  Three residential units of approx 15 m2 are made in a residential building in the centre of the town. They are all equipped with a sink and a storage cupboard. They share the bathroom, kitchen and an extra toilet.

 

The icing on the cake is a large roof terrace, which is accessible with a staircase.

Much attention has been paid to sound insulation between the units, general areas, and rooms. This applies to both the walls and the floors. Given the state of the building at purchase, all piping was built from scratch.
